Dryneedling

This technique works by inserting a filiform needle into your injured tissue through multiple routes of healing, such as:

  • A Twitch Response

    • Trigger points, or fibrous nodules found in the belly of muscles are released with a rapid contraction of the muscle.

  • Pro-Inflammatory Healing

    • Most people know that inflammation is the cause of pain, however we can channel inflammation to speed up healing. By creating small channels of blood within the muscle, ligament or tendon, we are able to provide the injured area with additional oxygen and nutrients to heal more rapidly. Think of this like a sponge soaking up water. Often times we have everything we need to heal in our body, we just have to create a passageway.
