FAQ

How long does each session last?

The chiropractic adjustment only lasts a few minutes. However, other therapies may be utilized as an adjunct to the treatment to increase effectiveness.

How Long Will I Need Treatment?

Each patient is unique and so is each treatment plan. Typical treatment regiments will last anywhere from a few weeks to months or longer, depending on the severity of your condition and the frequency of your visits.

Can I be adjusted if I have had an operation on my spine; have old, weak, brittle, or broken bones?

There are many very gentle techniques that can be employed to assure proper safety for all types of patients, from newborns to the elderly.

Can I be adjusted if I am pregnant?

For normal development of the baby and for an easy and safe birth, receiving adjustments during pregnancy is essential. Many of the pelvic ligaments become stretched during pregnancy, causing pelvic instability and joint misalignment; and chiropractic is an effective and comfortable way to correct this misalignment. Women who are adjusted during their pregnancy tend to have quicker child labor than women who do not see a chiropractor.

Does it Hurt?

No. Most people enjoy getting a chiropractic adjustment and feel relief of their symptoms soon after the treatment.
